According to NASA, this picture represents "peculiar portrait from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope showcases NGC 1999, a reflection nebula in the constellation Orion".

Jupiter's Great Red Spot

This picture represents the Great Red Spot of Jupiter taken by the twin Voyager probes, launched in 1977.

Mediterranean Cities Light Up the Night

According to NASA, this picture represents "nighttime photograph from the International Space Station (ISS) as it orbited 261 miles above looks across the Mediterranean Sea from north Africa to southern Europe".
